I’m very excited to announce this collaboration with one of my favorite toymakers, Skull Toys! I’ve been fascinated with the mysterious Kukeri entities from Bulgaria since I learned about them as a teenager, so you can imagine how excited I was when Skull Toys first produced the Kukeri in sofubi a few years ago. I’ve been collecting them pretty hardcore ever since. Seriously, there’s at least one of these in every room in our house. In my partner’s office alone, you’ll find one in almost every color imaginable hogging all the shelf space. Needless to say, the Kukeri is a favorite in our household. They’re believed to scare away evil spirits. The Kukeri are also believed to provide a good harvest, health and happiness for the village, and who couldn’t use some of that right now.
